- Stock #047896 - This vessel was SOLD on February 2.Hull Length: 60.5 feet ( 18.4 meters )Hull Breadth: 16.4 feet ( 5 meters )Hull Depth: 10.7 feet ( 3.3 meters )Gross Tonnage: 71Net Tonnage: 56builder: GULFSTARHull Material: FRP (Fiberglass)Hull Shape: ShipYear Build: 1991 Runnin' Wild was documented in 1991 and launched in 1995. The vessel began its life as hull # 29 , a Gulfstar, 60.This was purchased as a shell with a hollow keel by the present owner who has designed and built the cabin as a two stateroom vessel, with an engine room with workspace that makes sense. There is an abundance of storage space designed into this vessel as a result of great planning and a reduction of staterooms over the original floor plan. The galley has been expanded and has a great deal of refrigerator freezer storage. There is a washer dryer combination unit installed beyond the galley. The original portholes have been replaced and relocated to suit the design, and the trim and finish needs to be completed There is also some trim to be done around the hatches, as new cedar has been installed on all the ceilings, and needs trim. The forward shower is installed, and needs to be trimmed out. The shoal keel weighs in at 30,000 lb and is filled with lead, sealed with resin, and glassed over. This is a great improvement over the original 12,000 design. The rigging has been replaced after hurricane Charley in 2005 after a roof tile hit and destroyed the mast, and the Standing rigging is very heavy all in stainless steel. This vessel is equipped with Navtec HydraulicsHydraulic SystemsNavtec hydraulics help make your sailing easier by by giving you the control you need at your fingertips. The most frequently controlled functions are the backstay and the boom vang. There are, however, many other functions which can be controlled by Navtec hydraulic systems.Your boat's performance can be greatly enhanced by a properly tensioned backstay. A straighter headstay will minimize the friction in your roller furling gear, allowing it to turn smoothly.Navtec vangs offer you cockpit control of mainsail twist. The return force in Navtec's vangs eliminates the need for a topping lift, and allows you to lift the weight of the boom off the leech of the main in light air.At POP Yachts, we will always provide you with a TRUE representation of every vessel we market. We encourage all buyers to schedule a survey for an independent analysis. Any offer to purchase is ALWAYS subject to satisfactory survey results.Take a look at ALL ***142 PICTURES*** of this vessel on our main website at POPYACHTS DOT COM. Additional Equipment:
This vessel is in excellent condition. Yes there are some finish details that need to be done, but with the way this vessel ie equipped, with 102 hours on the engine, and 115 hours on the generator, it has hardly been used. Docked on the west coast of Florida, this vessel needs some open and deep water to operate in the way she was designed to be used. This is the reason for the low hours and the sale.
